Marthaville, LA-Funeral services for Mary Georgia Castillo, 67, of Marthaville, LA will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 2:00pm at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many, LA. Interment will follow in the St. Ann's Cemetery in Ebarb, LA. Bro. Glenn Howard will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 pm on Monday, October 19, 2015 with a rosary at 6:00pm. She was born on February 22, 1948 in Negreet, LA. She entered into eternal rest on October 16, 2015 in Many, LA. She was preceded in death by her father John J. Turnley; husband Joe Castillo; and sister Marguerite Turnley. She is survived by her mother Dorothy Jones Bray; daughter Connie Byrd and husband Randy; son Joey Castillo; grandchildren Jonathan "Freebird" Meshell and wife Jessica, Chris Meshell and wife Kacey, Laurie-Anne Slaughter and husband Josh, Laney Meshell and fiance' Riley McQuillin, Chad Castillo, Kyle Castillo; fifteen great-grandchildren; brothers James Turnley and wife Yvonne, Kenny Turnley and wife Sue; sister Margie Nanez and Rhonda; special friend Marvin Booker and his son Wayne Booker; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Herbert Ray Meshell, Howard "Chubby" Meshell, Kevin Meshell, Dwain Turnley, Butch Manasco, and Riley McQuillin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan "Freebird" Meshell and Chris Meshell.
