Mary Frances Craig

Funeral services for Mary “Frances” Craig, 82, will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery, 506 Cemetery Rd. in Springhill, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Friday, October 4, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. till time of service at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Anthony Slack.

Frances was born on August 9, 1942, to Ray and Loyce Dean in Springhill, Louisiana and passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in Shreveport.

Frances was a resident of Shreveport. She married the love of her life, Robert Craig, on March 26, 1958, in Harrison County, Texas.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Loyce Dean; husband, Robert Craig; and sisters, Carolyn Jordan and Tommie Feemster. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Gary W. Craig from Shreveport, Louisiana; brothers, Terry Shaver and wife, Cindy from DeRidder, Louisiana; Jason Dean and wife, Tanya from Magnolia, Arkansas; grandsons, Jason Wynn and wife, Katelynn from Bossier City; Tyler Massay from Shreveport; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friends, Jo Green and Sherry Wallace. Honoring Frances as pallbearers will be Thomas Shaver, Danny Wallace, Blaze Wallace, Garrett Shaver, Wyatt Wallace, and Jaxson Wallace.

The family would like to express special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and special nurse, Marquitta, for the wonderful care, love, and compassion given to our “Aunt Sin.”
