Mary Edwina Creamer

Funeral services for Mary Edwina Creamer, 88, will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Officiating the service will be Pastor Peyton Donaldson.

Mary was born on July 17, 1936, to Casper Calloway Young and Agnes Cardile Jones Young in Ivan, Louisiana, and passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Mary was very involved in the community. She spent many years of service at Cypress Baptist Church. She was a dedicated schoolteacher for the Bossier Parish School System for over 30 years. Mary was also a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, where she fostered lifelong friendships with her sorority sisters. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. 

Mary Edwina Creamer will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to education, her strong sense of community, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Wayne Creamer. She is survived by her sons, Dennis Creamer and wife, Terri, and Dale Creamer, and wife, Rachel, and grandchildren, Chase, Courtney, Matthew, and Maria Creamer.
