Mary Jane Crittenden

Celebration of life and going home service for Mary Jane Crittenden, 71, of Florien, LA will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2015, at Rose-Neath Many Chapel with Rev. James Hickman and Rev. Charles Pennington officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Knot Cemetery in Fisher, LA. An all night visitation will be held beginning Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Crittenden was born April 27, 1944, in Plain Dealing, LA to John and Jewel Frances Love and entered into her eternal resting place on September 14, 2015 in Decatur,TX. During her lifetime, she married the love of her life, Jim Crittenden in February of 1966 in Marshall, TX. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who tried to see the good in everyone and opening her home and heart to anyone who needed it. She retired from Wal-Mart after over 25 years of service. Preceding her in death were husband, Jim Crittenden; daughter, Kellie Crittenden; and parents. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Jimmy Dean Crittenden of Florien, LA, Chris and Kathey Crittenden of Katy, Texas, Daymon and Tammie Crittenden of Alvord, TX, Bart Crittenden of Florien, LA and Brian Crittenden of Florien, LA; sister, Barbara and Benny Carswell of Ducach, LA; brother, John "Sonny" Love and wife, Lynn of Phillipenes (Saipan); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Daymon Crittenden, Bart Crittenden, Jimmy Crittenden, Brian Crittenden, Gaylon Spears, Terrell Spears, and Jim Goodman. Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Crittenden.
