Graveside services for Mary Opal Stone Francis will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Doyline Cemetery in Doyline, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family request Covid guidelines of social distancing and wearing a mask at the service. Mary was born April 9, 1935 in Ferriday, Louisiana and entered into rest November 2, 2020 in Doyline, Louisiana. Mary was a member of Doyline Methodist church where she was the choir director for 50 years directing all ages. She also taught school for 30 years at Doyline High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.A. Francis and parents, Zelma and Russell Stone. She is survived by her stepsons, Gary Francis and wife Marie of Haughton, Mickey Francis and wife Tommie of Evergreen, CO; stepdaughters, Sharon Eiland and husband John of Doyline, Gaye Francis of Doyline; and sister, Juanita Stone Nixon of Ferriday.
