Mary Virginia Weaver Hinson

Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Mary Virginia Weaver Hinson, 80, will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield, LA with Reverend Lee Dickson and Reverend Bob Latham officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery in Hall Summit, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM. Mary was born in Leesville, LA on November 17, 1933 to Thomas and Laura Rowzee Weaver and passed away in Shreveport, LA on June 23, 2014. Mary was a wonderful housewife, a great mother, the best grandmother and was a nurse's aid at DeSoto General for 15 years. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde H. Hinson, Sr.; son Thomas Neal Hinson; sisters Francis Weaver and Bertie Mae Cobb; father Thomas Weaver and mother Laura Allen. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Clyde H. Hinson, Jr. and Ronnie Hinson and wife Lynda; sisters Barbara Chiles and Shirley Roberts; sister-in-law Virginia Pixley; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and her beloved four legged friend Puddin. Honoring Mary as pallbearers will be Doug Green, Michael Adams, Tristan Boutwell, Bryan Evans, Kevin Burns and Thomas Adams. Honorary pallbearers Gary Calhoun and Buddy Pixley. The family suggests that memorials be made to Grace Home, 1035 Margaret Place, Shreveport, LA 71101.
