Mary Ruth Jackson

Shreveport, LA - A graveside service for Mary Ruth Jackson, 95, will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Officiating will be Reverend Clarence Chism. Visitation with the family will be held 5:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Mary Ruth Jackson was born on June 17, 1919 in Nashville, AR. Mary Ruth married Marlin E. Jackson on July 31, 1944 in Shreveport, LA. She passed away on April 17, 2015. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents Hosea T. Carey and Lille P. Carey, three brothers, Theo Carey, Homer D. Carey and Raymond Harold Carey, and grandson, Phillip Jackson. Mary Ruth is survived by two sons, Dwight Jackson of El Paso, TX, and Dwayne Jackson of Shreveport, LA, two grandchildren, Teressa Jackson of Dallas, TX, Stephanie Arnold and husband, Audie of Bossier City, LA, and two great grandchildren, Brighton and Brody Arnold. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Garden Park for their care and kindness.
