Mary Elouise Jones

Mary Elouise Jones, 88, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 5, 2016. She was born in Lena, Mississippi, and passed away peacefully in Shreveport, Louisiana at The Grace Home. She loved Jesus and her family more than anything. She was a giving person known for her quick-wit and incredible cooking. She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Jones, her son Richard Jones, her grandson Taylor Jones, her sons-in-law Jeff LaCaze and Andy Franks, her parents, one sister, and two brothers. Her visitation is at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City on Friday night May 6, 2016 starting at 6pm with a short prayer vigil at 8pm. Her funeral service is at 1pm Saturday, May 7, 2016 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Benton, with Msgr. Earl Provenza officiating. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Pallbearers are grandsons Nicholas Jones, Brian Walker, Steve Caldwell, Nick Granier, Patrick Murphy, and Scott Statham. She deeply loved and is survived by daughters Pam (and Neal) Crawford, Janice Franks, and Lisa (and Darin) Williams, plus one daughter-in-law, 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one sister, and many nieces and nephews. If she could say something to you right now, it would be, \"Stay close to God.\"
