Funeral services for Mary Kathryn Crofton Crosby will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 204 Patton Ave., Shreveport, Louisiana with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, 2100 Texas Ave., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Father Matthew Long. Mary Kathryn was born on July 27, 1932 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Robert and Kathryn Crofton and passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mary Kathryn was a lifelong resident of Shreveport retired from LSU Medical after 31 years. She was a long-term member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and People of Praise Community. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother, step-mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Patrick Crosby and brothers, Robert and Daniel Crofton. She is survived by her sons, Johnny Edwards, Michael Edwards and Brook Crosby; daughters, Monica Cunningham, Elisa Dunman, Mary Edwards, Connie Yurek and Sonya Crosby; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
