Mary Virginia (Ginger) Lane was born April 24, 1943 in Keithville, LA to Joseph Henry Hall and Ida Martha Hudnall Hall, and went to be with her Savior on her 74th birthday. Mary Virginia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She lived a life of contentment with no regrets and accomplished all that she intended. She knew that her greatest impact in the world was through raising her children well and she did this with excellence. Her legacy is apparent every day in her grandchildren and great-grandchild, and she loved nothing more than spending time with them. She loved God's creation, especially birds and flowers and looked for something to be grateful for each day. She was an accomplished seamstress and great cook with a secret recipe for date bars that everyone loved. She loved local history and was the unofficial family weather reporter. Her priorities in life were without question her faith and family, and she looked forward to being in Heaven with her brothers and parents.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Henry Hall; mother, Ida Martha Hudnall Hall; her brothers, Thomas Franklin Hall, James Hudnall Hall, William Allen Hall, John Olen Hall, Sidney Perry Hall, and Leo Bryant Hall.
