Mary Ethel Newsom Miller

Funeral services for Mary Ethel Newsom Miller will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at City On A Hill Pentecostal Church in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Shane Deville, and Bro. Mike Trammell officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Minden under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Friday, September 30, 2022, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.

Mary was born August 25, 1930, in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest September 27, 2022, in Minden, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Wesley and Pauline Cox Newsom; husband, Charlie Reuben Miller, Sr; son, Charlie Reuben Miller, Jr; grandson, Ricky Corbit;, great-grandson, Micah Rayner; and sisters, Myrtle Newsom and Margie Vaughn.

She is survived by her children, Renee Rayner (Earnest), Sharlene Warren (Jimmy), Vicki Barron (Chuck), and Timothy Miller (Jessica); grandchildren, Jonathon Rayner (Betsy), Scotty Rayner (Judith), James Warren (Christine), Tina Bowers (Jesse), Karrie Corbit, Kellie Travis (Billy), Mark Warren, Alex Stockmon (Amanda), Troy Stockmon, Sandy Stockmon (Barry Simpson); and 25 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Rayner, Scotty Rayner, Christopher Bowers, Tyler Bowers, Levi Rayner, and Jeffery Wiggins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Stockmon, Jesse Bowers, Troy Stockmon, and Mark Warren.
