MARY JOHN NASSER

Mary John Nasser (baptized Nabiha Maria) joined Our Lord in eternal life on Friday July 24, 2015. She was born in Crowley, Louisiana on September 12, 1912; the oldest of four children of Peter John and Rose Ferris John. She moved to Shreveport in 1932 after she married Joseph M. Nasser. They had four children: Donald deceased (wife: Bobbie Tinsley), Patricia Van Doorne, Roger (wife: Mary Ferrell), and Fr. Joseph Nasser, S.J. There are ten grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren, and a few great-great grandchildren plus great and great-great nieces and nephews. The Catholic Vigil for the Deceased will be held on Thursday, July 30 at 6:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St. Visitation hours will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. The Catholic Funeral Liturgy (Eucharist of Resurrection) will be held on Friday morning 10:30 a.m. July 31 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 315 Marshall Street.
