Mary Ruth Phillips

A graveside service for Mary Ruth Phillips, 86, of Shreveport, Louisiana will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Longstreet Cemetery with Rev. Dean Register officiating. Visitation will be held on the same day of service at Kilpatrick\'s Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, Louisiana from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Mary was born on January 16, 1936, to Victor and Mercer Boggs and entered into rest on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, after a lengthy illness. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe Phillips, and daughter, Patricia Ward. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Joe F. Brannon, Jr., and wife, Tina; daughters, Vicky Lynn Rouse, and Teresa Jean Brannon; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
