Mary Sepulvado Connella was born May 19, 1935 in Zwolle, Louisiana. She entered Heaven with her Lord and Savior on August 30, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother, Christina Sepulvado Meshell, her father, Steve Meshell, brother Luther Meshell and great-grandson Barrett Anthony Boggs.
Mary is survived by her husband of 67.5 years, Tommy R. Connella, her three sons, who were her pride and joy, Mark Connella, wife Cheryl, Dwayne Connella, wife Patty and Chad Connella, wife Karla, as well as her brother, Clayton Meshell.
She was Maw Maw Mary to 8 grandchildren of who she totally adored, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of loving relatives. Mary loved being a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church, she enjoyed Sunday School and especially time spent helping with the children. Over the years she enjoyed sewing, gardening, caring for animals, playing cards at SPAR with her friends, being in the Red Hat Society, and an officer in the Good Sam Travel Club. She greatly enjoyed bible study with her loving caretaker, Helen.
Mary had a servant’s heart and was precious to her family, as she was always willing to help with any task. Her countenance was always shining, and we can imagine that she is radiating in Heaven with Jesus and all her loved ones there.
