Shreveport, LA - Funeral service for Mary Nic Suhar, 85, will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Clarence Chism. Interment will follow in Hand Cemetery in Coushatta, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the funeral home. Mrs. Suhar was born June 7, 1929 in Halifax, LA and passed away April 24, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Wagley Moore and Edna Cecelia Rivers Moore; brother, Joseph Isaac Moore; and husband, Joseph Suhar, Sr. Left to cherish her sweet memory are her sons, Marcus A. Suhar and Donna Dubois, Joseph Suhar, Jr. and Ann Suhar; daughters, Susan M. Suhar Rowe-Chism (Bleu Frog) and Marshcia A. Suhar-Burnley (Red Moon); grandchildren, Shawn E. Brumels, Anthony D. Brumels, Michelle D. Suhar, Sara A. Burnley-Howard, Michael V. Burnley, Marina G. Suhar, Melissa A. Suhar, and Jennifer S. Rambin; and numerous great-grandchildren.
