Mary E Wells

Mary Ellen Wells, 68, of Benton passed away on Monday, June 1st. Mary Ellen was born in Alexandria, La. on March 31, 1947 to Aubrey D & Marcelle Lynn Murray. She was predeceased by her parents and her only brother, John L. Murray. Services will be held on Thursday, June 4th at 1:30 PM at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel with Rev. Robert Beadle officiating. Interment will be at Lay Cemetery in Benton. There will be a time of visitation on June 3^rd from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband, Jim Wells of Benton; two children, Murray D Wells and wife Deborah, Anne Wells Coleman and husband Chris, both of Bossier City. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chelsea Lauzon and husband Bryan, Tyler Bruce and wife Courtney, Cody Coleman, Aubrey Wells and Mary Celeste Coleman, and great-grandchildren Gabby & Garrison Lauzon, as well as a nephew Steve Murray and a niece, Carin Murray. Mary Ellen also had a family at Nursecare of Shreveport, and our love and thanks go out to Vicki Ott and all of her staff for their loving care, and to the residents with whom she loved to visit on the patio.
