Mattie "Joe" Free

Converse, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Mattie "Joe" Free, 93, will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with Reverend Lon Almeida. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Converse. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath in Mansfield on Monday, August 17, 2015, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Joe was born August 21, 1921 in Pleasant Hill to Wiley and Margaret Odum Free and passed away August 15, 2015 in Mansfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Reba Wiley and Wila Litton.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her niece Beth McComic and husband Don; nephews Marcus Litton and wife Camille and Randy Litton and wife Jan; great nieces Susie and Leslie; great nephews Nicholas and Donald and wife Heather; great-great nieces Ashley; and great-great nephew Tyler.

Honoring the life of Joe as pallbearers will be Marcus Litton, Bobby Patrick, Donald McComic, Tyler Williamson, Chris Friday, and Don McComic.
