Maxine Dubois

Coushatta, LA - Mrs. Maxine Dubois, born September 11, 1938, passed away August 5, 2020. A memorial service celebrating her life of 82 years, will be held by the family at a later date. Inurnment will follow at Hand Cemetery near Coushatta. Ms. Dubois was born in Coushatta, LA to Leroy Edgar and Agnes Marie Nealy Dubois and passed away in Coushatta, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Hosie Joel Robinson; second husband, Charles Dubois; 8 siblings; son, Ricky Robinson; and daughters, Rebecca Robinson and Selma Jean Hunter. Left to cherish her memory are son, David Robinson and wife, Angela Robinson; daughter, Maxine Griggs; sisters, Leona Sessions, Patricia Ann Rosalis, Claudine Shaffer and Hazel Mae Simone; brother, Claudie Ray Dubois; 20 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as a loving homemaker, wife, and mother of five generations.
