Mel Dunlop

Milford Gayle Dunlop, 91, of Shreveport passed away October 31, 2014. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Forest Park West Cemetery. Officiating will be Brother Kevin Smith. Visitation will be Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Marshall St. Mel was born March 21, 1923 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Clark and Sadie Dunlop. He was a pilot in the US Air Force, having fought in the WWII and Korean conflict. He retired after 20 years of service. Mel is preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister, daughter and grandson. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Dunlop; sons, Gary, Kelvin, David, Jeff, and Brett Dunlop; daughter, Sharon Roscher; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Staff of Northwest LA War Veterans Home.
