Melanie Daviree Ramsey Wooten

Melanie Daviree Ramsey Wooten, 83, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 31, 2025. She will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, Louisiana.

Melanie was born May 9, 1941, in Minden, Louisiana to Loid Matthew Ramsey and Sarah Cliffie Slaton Ramsey.

Melanie is preceded in death by her parents; son, Bobby Allen Bryant; siblings, Mauriece, Bernice, Juanita, Alton, Margaret, Christine, Loyd, and Bobby Ray Ramsey. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Angie Wooten Anderson and spouse, Steve, and her son, Alton Ross Bryant and spouse, Laura. She is also survived by granddaughter, Serena Jackson.

Melanie will be terribly missed, but we will forever love and cherish her memory.
