Funeral services for Melba Jean Holliday will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Earhart and Bro. Steven Franklin officiating. Interment will follow at Old Town Cemetery in Haynesville, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Melba was born February 12, 1935 in Jacksonville, Texas and entered into rest September 3, 2014 in Kirby, Arkansas. Her father Marvin Finley, mother Ethel Weaver, step-dad J.D. Weaver, and daughter Glenda Bolton Marsh preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 41 years Edward Holliday of Delight, Arkansas, sons Marvin Wayne Bolton and wife Laura of Sibley, John Robert Bolton and wife Betsy of Minden, Eddie Holliday, Jr. of Sanford, Michigan, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
