Melvin H. Haire

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Services for Melvin Harvey Haire will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Fellowship United Methodist Church in Bossier City. Conducting the services will be Rev. Jonathan Beck and Rev. Tom Dungan. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City. Melvin was born November 20, 1932 in Pelican, LA to James Harvey Haire and Rosa Ott Haire and passed away August 19, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. Melvin retired from Bossier High School where he taught for many cherished years. He was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church. Melvin is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Jane Haire; daughter, Debbie Clark and Ed Conger; son, Stuart Haire and wife Vita; grandsons, Brandon Adkins, Michael Hodyno, Matthew Hodyno, Christopher Haire and many nieces and nephews.
