Funeral services for Michael DeWayne Stewart, 48, will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Brother Tommy Allen. Michael was born on November 10, 1972 to Marvin Wayne Stewart and Martha Wilson Clark in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 in Shreveport. Michael worked in construction. He was a Christian man that loved to fish when the opportunity presented itself. Michael is preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Robert and Olla Stewart and Robert and Dolores Wilson. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Martha Clark; and son, Jacob Menchue; and numerous other family members and friends. Honoring Michael as pallbearers will be Chad Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Justin McIntyre, James Gilcrease, Tony Schillings and Phil Wilson.
