Michael Patrick Gallion

Michael Patrick Gallion passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. He was born on November 26, 1959 to Adrian and Severine LaCour Gallion. He was a lifetime resident of Shreveport, Louisiana. Patrick was a member of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was employed with Frost Industries for 23 years. 

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2023 located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home-2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana 71118. Funeral services honoring the life of Patrick will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2023 located at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church-1050 W Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA 71118. Officiating the service will be Monsignor Rothell Price. Interment will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery in Natchez, Louisiana.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Severine Gallion and brother-in-law, Charles Mejia, III. He is survived by his siblings, Donald M. Gallion (Frances), James E. Gallion (Jackie), Norma Jean Shelton (Samuel), Edna Delphin, Susan Mejia, and Adrian G. Gallion (Susan Howell), brother-in-law, Walter Delphin; sister-in-law, Elaine Gallion; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Honoring Patrick as pallbearers will be his nephews, John P. Gallion, David Gallion, Michael Gallion, Christopher Shelton, Martin Shelton, and Charles N. Mejia.

In memory of Patrick, the family suggests donations be made to St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church.
