Mike Moreau, known as a family man and someone always there for his family, passed away August 21st. He will be remembered for his sassy humor and off-color jokes. He lived to pick on each one of us on a regular basis, just to see if he could get a rise out of us or catch us off guard. He loved, without so many words, and was grateful for each one of us. His smile was infectious, and you always knew if he was going to say something, it was going to be good, or extremely interesting. He enjoyed his politics and weather. “Go Trump” as he would say to Debbie Puso. He loved his Luckyland and texting his kids often with something he found funny or of interest to us. But he let us know he was thinking about us. Just another way he said “I love you” without saying it. He loved giving us all a hard time, just to pick on us. But when it really came down to it, he also had serious conversations, and they went nowhere. If you confided in him, it stayed there. No doubt, many who read this have trusted him with secrets. He usually gave really good advice in these situations, even if we did not agree with him. He will be truly missed and remembered by us all.
He leaves behind his brother, Terry Moreau; daughter, Melanie Moreau and her children, Devin and Lauren Yarborough, Zachery Moreau and Erika, and one great-grandchild, Beckett Wayne Yarborough; son, Michael and Schante Moreau and their children, Alex and Darrion Moreau, Hunter Moreau and wife, Abby, Haylea Moreau, Faith Smith, and Ava Smith; son, Kevin Moreau, Jennifer and Kimmi Cardinale; honorary son, Erick and Amanda Turner, Seath Madden, Layla Madden, Cireana Turner, Brandon Turner, Gavin Turner, Heather Moreau, and Rocky and Alicia Moreau, Josephine Moreau, Corinne Moreau, Cody Christian, Charlie Benfield; and many other distant relatives.
Mike is preceded in death by, Frances Moreau, Aubrey Moreau, Judy and Julie Webber, Ricky Moreau, Kayla Bernard, Clayton Madden, and Brinna Madden.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Erick Turner. You have been a blessing to us all.
