Michael "Mike" Lambert

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Michael "Mike" Lambert, 53, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Keatchie, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Dean Register and Rev. Hines. Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Mike was born on March 13, 1962 in Shreveport, LA to Mr. Floyd "Frenchie" Lambert and Mrs. Shirley Lynch Lambert and passed away suddenly on February 4, 2016. Mike worked for Dr. Reddy's Laboratories for 15 years. He loved Mardi Gras, LSU and the New Orleans Saints. Preceding Mike in death were his father, maternal grandparents, Travis and Edna Lynch and paternal grandparents, Edgar and Elodie Lambert. He is survived by his mother, Shirley L. Lambert; sister, Cheri Lambert; aunts, Mary Petty, Debra Hull, Kathy Dupree, and Geraldine Wilkerson; uncles, Phillip Lambert, Robert Lambert, Gerald Lambert, and Steve Lynch; numerous cousins and friends. Honoring Mike as pallbearers will be Kevin Duke, Johnny Lindsly, Butch Bagley, Matt Bagley, Barry Wayne Bush, and David Jenkins. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations may be made to New Destinations Inc., P.O. Box 1515, Carthage, TX. New Destinations is a charitable, non-profit organization
