Michael Shane Prudhome

Michael Shane Prudhome, 61, of Stonewall, LA, died Tuesday, July 6, 2021, after a courageous two year battle with pancreatic cancer, at home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA, on Friday, July 9, 2021, with services following immediately afterward in the chapel. Bro. Mel Campbell will officiate. Burial will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Frierson, LA. Pallbearers will be Wilson Baker, Steve Henderson, Buddy Mason, Carson O'Neill, Quinton Prudhome, and Jeff Roach. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Brown and Skip Funkhouser. Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Lila Prudhome, and brother, Ronnie Prudhome. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Donna; father, Donald Prudhome and wife, Brenda; daughter, Samantha O'Neill and husband, Carson; three grandsons, Calan, Cash and Caden O'Neill; brother, Kevin Prudhome; sister, Debbie Belew and husband, Mike; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A special thank you to Mike's nurses, his niece, Susie Belew, and his sister-in-law, Denise Adkins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
