Michelle R. Price

Michelle R. Price, 54, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024. She was born on August 25, 1969, to Edgar Owen Skaggs and Mary Fannie Rea Skaggs in Amarillo, Texas.

Michelle led a remarkable career, serving as a civilian in the military, a role she held dear until her well-deserved retirement. Her dedication and commitment to her work were unwavering, earning her respect and admiration from colleagues and friends alike.

A woman of great intellect, Michelle pursued her education with zeal. She attended A.C.C.S. and later graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Her thirst for knowledge and passion for the field were truly inspiring.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Michelle was a beacon of light in the lives of those around her. Her hobbies and interests were as diverse as they were heartfelt. From her love of solar energy to her adventures in travel, her soft spot for rescue animals to her appreciation for vintage jewelry, and the solace she found in the pages of a good book, Michelle’s curiosity and zest for life were boundless.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Price; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Price and her maternal grandmother, Virginia Roberts. She is survived by her mother, Melva Sue Rankin, and her brother, Edward Darrell Price.
