Mike Lewis

A graveside service will be held for Michael "Mike" Lewis, at 10:00 am on September 2, 2020, at Arlington Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Hoffman will officiate. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath in Arcadia. Mike was born February 14, 1966, in Quitman, Mississippi, to Howard Lewis, Sr. and Betty Joan Carrol Lewis. He worked for Freeman Lumber as a warehouse manager. Mike loved to fish and work on trucks, but his passion was his grandchildren. He loved to take his grandchildren to the movies, or to Chuck E. Cheese. Mike will be missed by all those that knew him. Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lewis. He is survived by his father Howard Lewis, Sr., wife Monica Buckley Lewis, children; Katie Moore, Krisi Lewis and fiancé Richard, Sarah Giese and husband Jason, Mason Cooper Atkins, and Drake Lewis, by siblings; Zelda Lewis Garcia and husband Estevan, Tommy Lewis and wife Brenda, and Donna Varnell, grandchildren; Kaylee, Kayden, Karlee, Kally, Oakleigh, Triton, and Louie, and by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Honoring Mike as pallbearers will be Todd Cummings, Randy Moss, Dub Heflin, Josh Kidd, Russell Mills, and Jason Anderson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Stewart.
