Mildred Brossette

Funeral services for Ida Mildred Copeland Brossette, 93, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Wayne Deslattes officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park St. Vincent Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mildred was born May 1, 1924 in Lux, Mississippi to John and Willie Copeland. She passed away on September 9, 2017 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde W. Brossette, Sr.; and son, Randy Brossette. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Clyde W. Brossette, Jr. and wife Donna; daughter, Linda Brossette Parvino and husband Louis; daughter-in-law, Chris Brossette; sister, Agnes C. Carter; 7 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
