Mildred H. Coleman

Coushatta, LA - Celebration of life and going home graveside service for Mrs. Coleman, 93, will be Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Springville Cemetery in Coushatta at 11:00 AM with Pastor John Aaron Matthew officiating. Services are under the direction of Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta, LA. Mrs. Coleman was born August 16, 1923, in Foxworth, MS, to Thomas A. Odum and Julia Lenora Merritt and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 19, 2017, in Shreveport, LA. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Aubrey L. Coleman. Left to cherish her memory are son, Guy Coleman of Coushatta, LA; daughters, Judy Cooper of Shreveport, LA, Ginger Barker and husband, Len of Buford, GA, Kathy Coleman of Shreveport, LA, and Leigh Ann Johnson and husband, Greg of Keithville, LA; sister-in-law, Bea White of Harleton, TX; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are Col. David Webb, Donnie Coleman, Steve Pelfrey, Jeremy Johnson, Greg Johnson, Len Barker, and Allen Cooper. The family request in lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's or the charity of donor's choice. A special thank you to the nurses and staff of Aime Hospice Care and Joseph Jones, M.D.
