Mildred L. Jackson

Mildred L. Jackson, age 92, of Stonewall, Louisiana passed away on June 25, 2024. She was born on January 21, 1932 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Claude and Ludy Luttrell. 

A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024 located at Calvary Baptist Church, 9333 Linwood Avenue in Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Pastor John Lary. Interment will be held at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road in Shreveport. Honoring Mildred as pallbearers will be Glenn Jackson, Hunter Jackson, Jackson Abraham, Link Abraham, Johnny Reed, and Julian Vanahoof. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bennie Reed and Bobby Bartley. 

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Troy M. Jackson and brother, Ernest Luttrell. Left to cherish her memory include her son, Troy David Jackson and wife Kathy, grandson, William Glenn Jackson and wife Regina, granddaughter, Amy Michelle Abraham and husband Link; great-grandchildren, Kaylyn Jackson, Hunter Jackson, Katie Abraham, Jackson Abraham, and Natalie Abraham. 

The family suggests donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church Preschool Ministry.
