Mildred Ann McDonald

HOT SPRINGS, AR - Mildred Thompson McDonald, age 78, Resident of Country Club Village Retirement Community, Hot Springs National Park, AR, formerly of Shreveport, Louisiana, went to be with the Lord and her departed loved ones on January17, 2016. Mildred was born November 1, 1937 in Memphis TN. Mildred was a member of Kings Highway Christian Church of Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her husband John C McDonald, her parents, her sister Patty Thompson Webb of Oakland TN. Mildred is survived by brothers Jerry Thompson and wife, Linda of Southaven, MS, Richard Thompson and wife, Ellen of Hot Springs AR, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on January 21, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, La. Interment will follow at NWLA Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA. Officiating will be Dr. David Brice. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the funeral home.
