Millie Morton Gray

Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Millie Morton Gray will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Forest Park West, 4000 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held for family and friends on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Troy Parker.

Mrs. Gray was born November 18, 1930 to Almer Jasper Morton and Letha May Morton in Mansfield, Louisiana and lived most of her adult life in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mrs. Gray left this earth on Monday, March 13, 2023 to be with her Savior and Heavenly Father.

Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by the love of her life, her loving and devoted husband, Gene Gray; her beloved son-in-law, John G. Young; her parents and five siblings. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Linda G. Young, Shreveport, Louisiana, Judy Reynolds (Dale), Hamburg, Arkansas; son, Mike Gray (Janie), Bella Vista, Arkansas; grandchildren, Donyea McNabb (Leland), Frierson, LA, Liane Beaird, Shreveport, LA, Lisa Shoalmire-Ross (John), Texarkana, TX, Jody Patton (Michael), Bella Vista, AR, Kristal King, Pea Ridge, AR, Melanie Phillips (Abe), Rogers, AR; great-grandchildren, 1^st Lt. Kiefer Moore, USMC, Kyndal Moore, Staff Sgt. Samantha Shoalmire, USAF, Mason Shoalmire, Kimberly and Kaitlyn Patton, Lexxie and Landon King, Roman and Kora Phillips; brother, Lawrence (Tootie) Morton and sisters, Dorothy (Dot) Raimond and Katie Bartlett.

Mrs. Gray was a cherished and loving wife, mother, memaw and great-memaw.

Honoring Mrs. Gray as pallbearers will be Kiefer Moore, Mason Shoalmire, Michael Patton, John Ross, Leland McNabb and Russell McNabb.
