Funeral services for Mitchell Grant Odom, Sr. 59 of Logansport, LA will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 2:00pm at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Logansport, LA. Rev. Charles Welch will officiate. Interment will follow in the O.E. Price cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 5-9pm. Mitchell was born on February 23, 1956 in Mansfield, LA. He entered into eternal rest at his residence on May 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother Maidland Odom; brother in law Billy Yarbourough, nephew Christopher Hughes. He is survived by his wife Rita Odom; father Mack Odom, sons Charles McMillion and wife Angela, Mitchell Odom, Jr. and wife Krystle; daughter Stacey Sanchez and husband Willie; sisters Gilma Odom, Teresa Odom, Sharon Windham and husband Jerry, Laura Sanford; brother Jason Odom; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Charles McMillion, Willie Wier, Scotty Pate, Mitchell Odom, Richard Yarborough, and Jimmy Evans. Honorary pallbearer will be Matt Simmon.
