Nan Sneed Phillips

Funeral Services for Nan Sneed Phillips, 85, will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Rd. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held the same day from10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Officiating the service will be Bro. Ted Hardan.
 
 Nan was born on March 22, 1939, to Leonard and Vivian Sneed in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024.
 
 Nan was a resident of Shreveport and a 1957 graduate of Fair Park High School. Before retiring, she worked for Arkla Gas. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed taking care of her many dogs and cats. She had an amazing faith in Jesus Christ.
 
 Nan is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Vivian Sneed; her son, Thomas H. Willis, III; and sister, Leonora Wixon. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Hugh Phillips; daughters, Sherry Merrill and husband, Ken, Pamela Stinson (Matt Green and Ralee Smith), and Jody Dion and husband, Roger; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
 
 The family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Guest House for the wonderful care and compassion given to Nan.
 
 The family suggests memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana.
