Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Nancy Bechner, 73, will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Mansfield, LA with Father Michael Millard officiating. Burial will follow at Rockdale Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA on September 23, 2016 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM. Nancy was born on June 2, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri to Virgil and Theresa Cook Whaley and passed away on September 18, 2016 in Mansfield, LA. Preceding Nancy in death were her parents Virgil and Theresa Whaley; son, Alan Dale Bechner; granddaughter, Alisha Lynn Ostheimer, and Brother Ronnie Paul Whaley. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Allen "Al" Bechner of Mansfield, LA; sons, Steven Bechner and wife Jennifer of Corinth, TX, Patrick "PJ" Bechner and wife Amy of Carrolton, TX; daughter, Denise Reynolds and husband Daniel "Boone" of Mansfield, LA; sister, Patricia Broscoff and husband Jim of Waxahachie, TX; 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Those honoring the life of Nancy as pallbearers will be Charles Reynolds, Jacob Prudhome, Cayne Maynard, and Henry Mitchel.
