Nancy Ruth Perdue Wright

A graveside service celebrating the life of Nancy Ruth Perdue Wright, 90, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Gerald Woolman.  

Nancy was born November 14, 1932, in Bastrop, Louisiana, to John Franklin Perdue and Minnie Kathleen Bell Perdue. Nancy passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Nancy was a retired teacher from Caddo Parish. She loved her family and spending time with them. She was loved and adored by many and will be greatly missed.  

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; and brother Franklin Perdue. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Polk and husband, Randy; granddaughters, Kristin Rivers and husband, Jeffrey, and Heather Perez and husband, Benny; great-grandchildren, Alysah Rivers, Joshua Rivers, and Aliana Perez.
