Nathalene Jackson

Nathalene Jackson, 88, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on January 28, 2025. She was born on February 12, 1936 in Noble, Louisiana to James and Rena Paddie Anderson. 

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk St, Mansfield, LA 71052. Burial will follow the service at Shady Grove Cemetery in Noble, Louisiana. Officiating will be Pastor Glen Wentworth. Honoring Nathalene as pallbearers will be Brian Deacon, Kevin M. Deacon, Dustin Hitt, Waco Hitt, Travis Hitt, Deacon Parchman, Ryder Deacon, and Kyle Parchman. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Russell Antee and Denver Parchman. 

Nathalene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Ray Jackson; siblings, Alfred Anderson, Archie Anderson, and Irene Paddie; grandson, Billy Jackson; and granddaughter, Rosebud Hitt. She is survived by her sons, James Ray Jackson (Irene) and Michael Wayne Jackson; daughters, Narda Rose Hitt (Paul) and Nelda J. Deacon (Kevin); special niece, Tracy Antee; honorary daughter, Rose Cash; sisters, Marilyn Raborn and Geniva Redding; brother, Johnnie Anderson; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
