Nathaniel Ross Dean

Shreveport, LA- Nathaniel Ross Dean, 90, passed away peacefully Friday evening July 28, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Shreveport. Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA prior to funeral services at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Veterans Memorial Park in Keithville, LA at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2017. Officiating will be Bro. Woody Janise. He joined the Navy at 18 and served during WW2. Ross married Murline Logan on July 16, 1948. They celebrated their 69^th wedding anniversary this summer. Ross was a carpenter by trade, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Ross is precede in death by his parents and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Murline; son, Danny; daughter, Delane Aaron and husband John; five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Ross was well loved by family and friends and will be remembered with love for soft voice and sharp sense of humor.
