Nelda Rosado Gragg

SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Nelda Mitchell Rosado Gragg will be held at 11: 00 a.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside, with Bro. Billy Crosby officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the funeral home.

Nelda was born on April 7, 1942 in Converse, LA to Curtis and Mildred Mitchell and went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 17, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Harold, Reginald and James Henry Mitchell; sister, Natalie Wilson; first husband, Rummy Rosado; and her loving husband of 25 years, Leon E. Gragg.

Left to cherish her memory are her four daughters, Andy Hinton (Beetle), Monie Engh (Jim), Donna Rogerson (Louis), and Sherri Norris (Rob); grandchildren, Eddie and Amy Kinard, Brian and Bailey Engh, Evan, Aaron, Elizabeth and Abigail Rogerson, Meredith and Caleb Norris; sister, Dee Palmer (Billy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and her furry companion, Molly B.

Honoring Nelda as pallbearers will be Eddie Kinard, Evan Rogerson, Aaron Rogerson, Brian Engh, Caleb Norris, Lamar Wilson, Dennis Mitchell, and Colt Palmer.
