Nettie Campbell Nuckolls

A private graveside service for Nettie Campbell Nuckolls, 100, will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport, Louisiana at 1:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Minister Ed Cooper.

Nettie Francis Campbell Nuckolls was born February 24, 1923 to William Webb Campbell Sr. and Leona Dotson Campbell in Ivan, Louisiana and passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Nettie enjoyed her career in retail for over 40 years. After she retired, she developed a hobby of fishing and spent many days on Bodcau and Dorcheat. She was kindhearted and was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Jerry Nuckolls; six siblings and her husbands, Leroy Nuckolls Sr. and Clyde A. Forrester. She is survived by her son, Leroy Nuckolls Jr. (Peggy); step-son, Craig Nuckolls (Cindy); step-daughter, Donna Nuckolls Mckenzie (Robert); grandchildren, Roxanne Ross, Grant Nuckolls (Ann), Jerry Nuckolls (Angel) and Cheryl Cooper (Brad) and many great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the excellent care provided by Dr. Robert Hernandez, the extraordinary compassion and kindness shown by Lorrie Nunley and The Azalea Estates, The Glen Retirement System and Lifepath Hospice.
