Nina Rougeau Bahruth

Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Nina Rougeau Bahruth, 72, will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with Reverend Richard L. Tull officiating. Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Alexandria Memorial Gardens in Woodworth. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June, 30, 2015 from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Nina was born August 31, 1942 in Colfax, LA to Harold and Edythe Rougeau and passed away June 27, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. She was an Elementary Education Teacher teaching first grade for 34 years in Jefferson Parish. She graduated from Boyce High School in Rapides Parish and Northwestern State University. Nina was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shreveport and a former member of Gretna Presbyterian and Mansfield First United Methodist.

Preceding Nina in death were her husband Ira Lee Bahruth, Jr.; parents; sisters Billie Jones and Peggy Crooms; and brother David Rougeau.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son Forest Bahruth and wife Beth Fulmer; daughter Leah Alario and husband Tony; granddaughter Sophie Bahruth; sister Linzay Rogers; brother Charley Rougeau and wife Patricia; and sister-in-law Wanda Rougeau.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Lung Association,55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601, St. Joseph Catholic Church 211 Atlantic Ave. Shreveport, LA 71105, or the donor's choice.
