Nona Faye Anderson

Stanley, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Nona Faye "Nanny" Anderson, 78, will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield with Dr. Tom Carlton officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath in Mansfield from 5:00 until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2015.

Nona Faye was born December 25, 1936 in Benson, LA to Bryant and Lilley Mae Burr and passed away March 10, 2015 at her residence with her family by her side.

Preceding Nona Faye in death were her parents; son Witmer Lamar Anderson; daughter Pamela Joyce Anderson; and 12 siblings.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years Witmer Anderson; daughter Nona Ruth Anderson; sister Betty Sue Burr Thibodeaux; grandchildren Angela Fine and significant other Chuck Cobb, Renee Prince and husband Kenneth, and Jason Anderson; great grandchildren Dakota Barr, Nathan Barr, Blake Prince, Christapher Anderson, Peyton Pannell, and Cole Pannell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
