Nona G. Raley

Coushatta, LA Celebration of life and going home service for Nona Raley, 90 years and 8 months, will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Coushatta Chapel at 2:00 PM with Reverend Richard Kaufman officiating. Interment will follow at Holley Springs Cemetery in Coushatta, LA. Visitation will be held Friday, September 25, 2015, from 5:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Raley was born January 15, 1925, in Arkansas, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 23, 2015, in Coushatta, LA. Preceding her in death were husband, Lawrence Raley; parents Porter and Edith Mainer Yarbrough; sisters Wanda Warner Powell, and Nettie Yarbrough; and brother Ray Yarbrough. Left to cherish her memory are son, Larry Raley and wife, Glenda; grandsons, Todd Raley and wife Bobbie and Shane Raley and wife Marcela; great-grandchildren Holly Raley, Cohen Raley, Sydney Raley, Eddie Thompson, Michael Thompson, and Kyle Sanders; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister Dot Bruingart; brother Troy Yarbrough and wife Mary; and a host of nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers are Eddie Thompson, Paul Mosley, Jason Mosley, Charles Crawford, Will Vaughn, and Clay Vaughn. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Green Meadow Haven Nursing Home and Dr. Carter and staff at Christus Coushatta.
