Funeral services for Nora "Dodie" Pollay will be officiated by Rev. David McCormick on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Social Springs Baptist Church in Ringgold, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Social Springs Cemetery in Ringgold under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Nora, born May 6, 1923 in Ringgold, Louisiana entered into rest July 16, 2014 in Ringgold, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Pollay, daughter Ruth Ann Pollay and brothers Jasper and Arvil Norred. Mrs. Pollay is survived by her daughter Carolyn June Pollay Carter and husband Doug of Ringgold, grandchildren James R. Davidson II and wife Barbara of Graham, Washington, Jennifer Lynn Williams and husband Stacey of Odenton, Maryland, Sandra Renee Davidson of Bossier City, Kristopher Douglas Carter and wife Megan of Shreveport, seven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
