BOSSIER CITY, LA - Graveside services for Norman W. Bale will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Buster Page. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City.
Norman was born October 28, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN to Norman and Beatrice Bale and died July 7, 2016 in Plain Dealing, LA. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a retired radio broadcaster who had worked for KEEL, KWKH and the Louisiana Hayride. Norman enjoyed being with his entire family, singing with the family quartet, fishing, golfing and rooting for his beloved Minnesota Vikings. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
His wife of 67 years, Sue Bale and his parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Sue Bale Bell, Norma Jo Bale Anderson and husband, David; grandchildren, Jason Anderson and wife, Melissa, Josh Bell and wife, Whitney, Jacob Bell and wife, Stacy; great grandchildren, Courtland Anderson, Cain Anderson, Braeden Bell, Brooklyn Bell, Annaleigh Henderson, Landry Bell, Bryson Bell, Addison Bell and Wyatt Bell and several nieces and nephews.
Honoring Norman as pallbearers will be Jason Anderson, Josh Bell, Jacob Bell, Bryson Bell, Galey Honaker and Gordon Ward.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Bipin Turakhia and staff, Bloom at Bossier and staff, Whispering Pines Nursing Home and Regional Hospice.
