Funeral services for Obilene Chanler will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at City On A Hill Pentecostal Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Jimbo Yocom and Rev. Jared Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the church. Obilene was born September 18, 1934 in Ringgold, Louisiana and entered into rest in Minden, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert Hoyle Chanler; mother, Danny Eva Tipton Nettles; father, Obie Lester Nettles; sister, Lee Wimberly; and brother, Jimmy Joe Nettles. She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Davidson and husband Billy; sisters, Eva Deirdre Martin and Linda Kay Entrekin and husband David; grandchildren, Leslie Coyle; Marissa and Kristina Davidson, Marc and Vianey Davidson; and Jared and Ashley Miller; great grandchildren, JayLynn Miller, Jazzy Davidson, Everly Coyle, Jaxon Miller, Harley Davidson, Adalynn Miller, and Charlie Davidson. Pallbearers will be David Nettles, Brad Entrekin, Randy Hutchison, Johnny Wimberly, Marc Davidson, and Marissa Davidson. Rose-Neath Funeral Home 211 Murrell Street Minden, Louisiana 71055
