Olliene Thomas

Olliene "Cookie" Thomas, 82 of Bossier City, LA, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017. Cookie was born in Shreveport, LA on September 5, 1935. Cookie is survived by her son, Steve Readhimer; sister, Jedonne Bradford and numerous family members. She graduated from Ruston High School. She enjoyed life and loved singing, gardening, dancing and being with family and friends. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Bossier Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Her funeral service celebrating her life will be at Rose-Neath Bossier on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10 a.m. Pastor Mike Fort of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Coushatta, LA will be officiating. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude at https://www.stjude.org/give.html.
