Oram Wynne Wright was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on October 5. 1945 to Oram Chester Wright and Zelma Gray and passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 very unexpectedly at the age of 75. He was a resident of Vivian, Louisiana.
Wynne's death came as a huge shock to all those who love him. He spent his days chasing great grandkids and sword fighting with spoons in the kitchen. He was so young at heart and didn't act a day over 20. Wynne was someone you could come to with any problems and he would have an answer. He loved everyone he met and his family extended farther than you could imagine. Wynne loved many and is loved by many. He will forever be remembered as the world's greatest "Paw-Paw."
Wynne is preceded in death by his father and mother, Oram C. and Zelma; his sisters, Patsy, Terri Sue, and Betty Fern and his wife Mary.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, John, his grandchildren, Zachary, Ethan, and Lucas; his great-grandchildren, Marylyn, Asher and Avery; his granddaughter-in-law, Payton and his sister, Joy.
Funeral services for Wynne will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, Louisiana with Pastor Kenneth Shepherd of Trees Union officiating, assisted by Pastor Scott Holmes, Louisiana Superintendent of the Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Vivian, Louisiana. The family will have a time visitation on Monday, February 8th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
